I am interested in applying to become a Warrant Officer (255A). Background Info: I will be graduating ALC in March. Certs that I hold are (ITILv4, A+, Net+, Sec+). Will be taking CCNA soon. I hold a TS/SCI. Any additional tips or advice would be much appreciated.

The packet is simple, head on over to USARECs website and go to Recuruting and warrant officers, find the packet. It’s as simple as it can be and gives you a sample packet as well. Sure, someone can email you their packet, but there is nothing from their packet that you can use in yours

I disagree completely. Having a sample packet to work with to know how to tailor yours for the board can make all the difference needed for getting picked up. At the very least, it gives you an idea on key discussion points to focus on and what not to say. A sample packet, in my opinion, is the next best thing to asking a Warrant to review your packet before you send it up.

But after assembling his using the sample I would also ask a Warrant to review the packet before he sends it up.

Generally, the Senior Warrant Officer who is charged with writing your recommendation letter will provide you a copy of their own packet.
You are expected to reach out to those senior signal WOs in your formation first; but the WO proponent can connect you to senior WOs if none are available in your unit.
