How long does a Soldier have to stay on station before they can PCS?

I arrived at Fort Stewart 1 year ago and it is time for me to reenlist. I am planning on reenlisting for choice of duty assignment and I was seeing if there was a standard for how long a Soldier has to stay on station before they can PCS. If I reenlist for a specific location will it make my report date closer or further from original PCS date.

24 months time on station unless the CG approves an ETP

24 months on station, but your report date will be based on the date of report for the assignment, not the month you want to arrive. The earliest arrival date you can have is the 25th month. But the first open slot might not be until month 30 or later
