I am considered a single parent in the army. Am I supposed to receive BAH for where my son is at while I'm in training?

I am active duty and a single parent. Just wanting to know if I was supposed to be getting BAH while I've been in TRADOC. I am still in TRADOC. I have AIT to finish up. But my family is struggling without my civilian income.

Sounds like you need to talk to your CoC and Finance, I'd get with your AIT Instructor and Drill Sergeant about how to go forward. That said, SFC Kelly Fuerhoff has a good point, with this issue your CoC is likely going to want to go over your family care plan. not just at AIT but at your gaining unit as well.
