Any recommendations for finding furniture and washer/dryer at Fort Benning?

Check the Classifieds. People moving in and out of Benning all the time. My wife and I decided to get rid of most of our furniture there instead of moving it again. I started about 30 days before I PCS'd and the last week we were sleeping on an air mattress and sitting on camping chairs. Did keep the TV and Stereo, and the Baby's Bed.

Also, there used to be a Thrift/Consignment shop on Benning that had a lot of stuff, although the decent stuff moved pretty quick from my recollections. Don't know if it's still around or not. There was one on most post when I was still around.

You can always buy online. I recommend https://whataroom.com/. Last month, we bought a sofa and a dining table from them for about $2600. They ship across the country, so you can have the furniture delivered to you.

Facebook marketplace is about the best place to buy used stuff like a washer and dryer. I wouldn't by furniture online. I did that once and it was a failure. I would go to Tate Furniture in Phenix City. They have some good prices. I am here at Benning and got my place furnished by them.
