I'm curious how TiS TiG is calculated for National Guard. I am about to graduate AIT in less than a week and January 20th 2022 is my one year mark for when I enlisted. Would my TIS change when I report to my unit once a month?

As long as you are reserve component with no breaks in service, your TIS is your BESD/PEBD.

Your Time in Service (TIS) will remain and start from your pay entry base date (PEBD) so long as there is not a break in service. This will remain the same regardless of your orders as you are a member of the Reserve Component (RC) which includes the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.
If you are thinking about your promotion to PFC, that will happen when you make the appropriate TIS and Time in Grade (TIG), just make sure to inform your first line leader that you have reached TIG/TIS for PFC. The same will occur for SPC so long as you meet TIS/TIG requirement and are not flagged.

Your TIS will not change. But, if you want the straight skinny....just talk with your unit S1 when you get back.
