My leadership want me to attend the promotion board in a few days notice. Because I hit my primary zone this week I ask to go next month because English is my second language make a bit harder to prepare my self better but I was toll ie either I go or sign a counsel saying I refusing to attend. And will barred me for future reenlistment

Yes. 100%. Whe you hit the primary zone you are required to attend the promotion board. You don't even have to pass. But if you refuse you will be barred. You can go and fail every single month with no repercussions. But you cannot refuse.

SPC (Join to see) congratulations Miguel! You should be very proud. You shouldn’t doubt yourself, you need to be your biggest fan. If you lack confidence in yourself, others will see it and question your abilities. You took this challenge and you succeeded! Keep up the good work and get ready for some chevrons.

When I was active they certainly could bar you and the majority of the times they did bar the soldier. The only time they did not was when the person submitted for retirement or was pending discharge for medical reasons.

SPC (Join to see) Go, stand stall, a squared away soldier, and do the best you can with the time you have. It will be a learning experience, and if you are not selected for promotion this round you will have a good idea what to expect in a later board appearance. Good luck. The board may also be good practice for times you are expected to perform other tasks for which you don't consider yourself ready.

SPC (Join to see) Congratulations! Your leadership was correct- with the effort you put in, you were ready. More challenges to follow.
