Potential isn't even a consideration. If, by the deadline, the vaccination is not taken due to refusal and not granted immunity via medical nor religious exemptions...then a Chapter WILL happen. How I feel? Well, it's the game we chose to play that has specific rules. Don't wanna play by the given rules....then have a safe ride back to civilian life.

It isn’t “Potential” it’s going to happen once the deadline passes

Makes sense. I figured the deadline coming and going was going to be the be all, end all.

SFC (Join to see) - Sounds like the CPL is trying to buck the system he signed up for. If he doesn't want to honor his commitment, he needs to be applying for a civilian job.

Most will comply. For the few outliers that refuse, they'll be very loud and boisterous during the separation process, be shown the door, and we'll all forget they existed 20 minutes later.
The Army is a big machine that will keep chugging along. In they end, they'll barely be a footnote, and none of their names will be remembered.

We already know waht will happen, there's no guesswork. The DOD and Service Secretaries have already published the checklist for refusers. There's a series of counselings, classes, educational material, meetings with Doctors, Chaplains, etc...
After you've gone through the checklist, if you haven't already voluntarilty gotten the vaccination, you are given a final order to do so. If you refuse again, then it's refusal to obey a lawful order, with the normal UCMJ that accompanies that, followed by a chapter, under either a Honorable Discharge or a General under Honorable Conditions, based on your behavior during the process.

Yeah, so where I am all of that short of the separation has already happened. GOMAR's were processed through legal and finalized, counseling's and classes have happened, medical meetings, etc, etc. At this point, the last thing left to do is await the chapter paperwork, but from what we have all heard on that is that there's no rush. My personal opinion is that the Army is waiting for the actual deadline to arrive and pass before going further, but to keep soldiers in limbo/waiting for a long time doesn't seem smart for the force, either.

CPL (Join to see) - Well yeah, they HAVE to wait for the deadline. You can't be chaptered for missing a deadline that hasn't passed yet.

SFC Michael Hasbun - True, true. So, I am guessing likely January will be the big push.
