Anyone whose had to do land navigation has one.... I used mine in the Atlanta Airport today to measure the distance we walked. What's yours?

What do you need a pace count for?
(Being that I'm the first LIEUTENANT to post on this thread, I thought a land nav + LT joke was in order....I'm sure those words have been uttered by a LT (or 2 or 3) in the history of the U.S. Army...) :)

Good joke! It is my pet peeve. Officers that can't find their way. The only time I have ever spoke harshly to an officer (Of course I used, "With all due respect.", because you can say anything you want as long as you put that disclaimer in) was because he could not read a map and would not accept that he could not read a map. To lead you have to know where you are going. I mean if George Washington could not have found the Alamo where would our country be now? :)
