Will my orders be cancelled for PCS under option 5 re-enlistment if I am 4 months out of my report date and got promoted 3 months ago?

I re-enlisted for Fort Carson as an E-4 non-promotable back in February and got promoted to E-5 in August. My report date is in March of next year and it is now November. I am concerned if HRC will cancel my orders and send me elsewhere being only 4 months out of my report date.

With your choice of duty station and MOS, probably not. But you have to go back to your Career Counselor so they can request a validation of your spot. Right now you are on on assignment to an E4 slot, they will slot you into an E5 requisition.

Probably not, but don't hold me to that. In theory it could, but at the 10 and 20 level there is almost guaranteed to be an opening at that division. I'd imagine if anything changes it would be the BCT you go to. Once again though, I'm not an HRC professional and can't say with 100% certainty.
