What’s the solution in Iraq and Syria? Boots on the ground? Bomb ISIS into submission (keeping in mind that boots on the ground win wars)?

GUNSHIPS....6000 rounds per minute of GTFO. Kill them...ALL OF THEM....as soon as possible. Mow them down...Do not try to analyze them or get into their heads. The only thing we should put in the heads of an ISIS Fighter is a 7.62mm or larger. STOP trying to win their hearts and minds, and just....well.....6000 rounds per minute times the number of guns on a Specter. 'Nuff Said....

An "operational raid." I don't know how better to put it. Take two Army Divisions and attack from Turkey. Move south and conduct a raid with the intent to destroy enemy combatants, equipment and facilities. Warn the population before hand. Clear the area and allow the Iraqi Army to retake the ground and establish a defense. Turn around. Head north. Go home.

Do what we're doing now. This is a UW fight. They are NOT an existential threat to our homeland. We make it a big conventional fight and they get even more recruits, some of whom are already on our soil.

I've served in the Army for going on 14 years, every day of which we've been at war over here. Did we really enjoy year-on, year-off deployments so much we want to do it again?

It is literally impossible to kill everyone who could potentially raise a hand against the US. At some point, we have to convince some of them that there are better alternatives.
