VA education benefits after end of first 6 years Reserves contract ?

I am having trouble receiving Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 1606 + kicker when I transitioned from reserves to IRR (came back to Reserves within a month) . VA education sees my status discharged which is me going to IRR but VA does not see me i am back in Reserves. My unit admin says my record is all good and fine, no unexcused absences.

I am having doubts that I am losing benefits due to going to IRR, but contract says eligible to get benefit upto 2030 for total of upto 36 months.

For reserves, do the GI bill Chapter 1606 and Kicker terminate after 6 years of contract when a soldier is automatically transitioned to IRR ?
If so, will the benefits get re-instated if I come back to reserves without re-enlistment for the rest of 2 years of my contract ?

I am trapped here in the middle between my unit saying my records are all good but VA insisting that my component fix the records (did provide order to VA as well). Any advise how to proceed in this case ? Will red medpros make one ineligible ?
