With the Presidential Elections coming up next year, what is the one thing you would like to see improved for our country?

I would really like to see all the dollars spent on elections totally discontinued. Advertising would be holding rallies and events only, and not millions of dollars in advertising on the Internet, TV, and other forms of media. No dinners for $1,000 per plate and up. Have an election where the people have to go out and see the candidates, listen to them speak without digging into their pockets to contribute money. No lobbyist buying votes and backdoor deals for money. Use what we get when we contribute on our income taxes as the only money the candidates get to use divided evenly amongst the candidates used for traveling to different events. It sounds impossible doesn't it? Media companies have their favorites, radio stations have their favorites, and the list goes on and on! I would just like to be able to vote and those votes actually make a difference instead of the Electoral College and the current method we use today. It’s always nice to dream about something different though! Enough complaining! It is what it is!

Military support for those serving and those who serve.

I agree with your post on the point of Congress putting all pride aside between both parties and actually working together to get our country back on track and moving forward to the future. Both political parties have to think outside of the box and plan forward towards the next 25-50 years. As for the environmental aspect, in my opinion, I believe that there is significant concern in certain areas of preservation of land and air but I think with the technological capabilities and the great minds that our country has, we can find a healthy balance of industry reavampment and environmental conservation.
