VA Claim Backlog , do you think?
Nationally, the VA had 512,700+ claims pending and 90,800+ pending appeals.
The average new claim processing time appears to be 12 to 18 months while appeals may take several years. How many of you have pending hearings or pending Appeals?
After over five years, Yesterday, I finally had my pending Appeal heard by the VA. It all had to do with that "gift that keeps on giving", Agent Orange!

I know the feeling have been appealing a negative protein s deficiency for years. They need a huge improvement with less talk and more action. By God if they need to they should have a cut off date for appeals and claims. Make them do as we did in the military, working weekends to catch up on the backlog.

No shit! Well said but we both know that will never happen. Working weekends, them? They would have a meltdown and hell, they'd file a claim!

This is ridiculous!! Instead of getting as many veterans jobs or help with the claims its like your dying before your claim is DENIED or APPROVED!
