Curious about the realities of the Married Army Couples Program. Wanting to know how effective it is and any suggestions! Wife and I will be different MOS’s but both AD. Thanks!

The pro is that you'll both PCS to your next assignment together.
The con is you can only go where there is a place for both of you. The higher rank you get the harder that is to accomplish

I see you are a 42A so you can go about anywhere. Does she have an MOS that can go anywhere or a small one that can only go to a select few places? That will determine if you two get the chance to PCS together or not and maybe get the same state.

My wife and I were both Active Duty when we met and in Korea when we got married. Being in the MACP was great. they adjusted my DEROS so that I could fly back with her, sent us to the same location and then when I PCS'd so did she, to the same place. Well worth it and made it that much easier. Hope this helps
