How will a GOMAR for DWI impact my promotions going forward with the centralized promotion system for senior NCOs?

Just became board promotablevto SSG but im worried the Army will see an old GOMAR in my iperms. It was for an incident that happened 4 years ago. Involving DWI. Will this be hung over my head until I get out? Now that I've made SSG, what can I expect going forward ? Promotions at the centralized level? Qsp? Anything I need to be worried about?

It's very possible that future boards will be able to see that GOMAR...but that is so far down the road you shouldn't even concern yourself. The good part is that you got the GOMAR when you were a SGT (or SPC, depending on when you pinned). If you received it as a SSG, you'd be facing a QMP.
