Ive already received my dd214 for RCP, enlisted for the reserves but I made the promotion list for 01 SEP. my actual ets isn’t until 19 OCT, how would this affect my RCP status/dd214/dd215.

You will no longer be qualified for RCP separation pay. You need to take your promotion information back to the RCCC so they can amend your contract and you can contract into the Reserves as a SGT instead of a SPC. Transition will issue you a new DD214 with a new rank and separation code.

Of course, if you choose you can still reenlist or extend in the Active Component as well

There is likely a clerical oversight related to the list. If you are being released for not meeting RCP requirements you should be flagged on the way out the door, making you ineligible. You need to contact your in service recruiter and have them look into it. Otherwise you are out on the orders and Dd214 you have in hand with no promotion.

It does not hurt to check, who knows. The Army changes every day.

You might have reenlist if you want the promotion’ otherwise Human Resources will inform DA of your status
