The recent events in Afghanistan have been difficult to watch, especially for many in our military and veteran community. The emotions felt during this time can seem insurmountable and could be difficult to process alone.

If you or your loved one needs support, please reach out to a Cohen Military Family Clinic. Our Cohen Clinics provide mental health care to Post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their families. Find a Cohen Clinic near you: cohenveteransnetwork.org/backtobetter

Doing pretty good...I have to admit the slap in the face kinda stings and leaves me wondering was it all worth it...then I think to myself yes it was because I went where my nation sent me as I was supposed to and did my job and kept the dang fight over there and not here any more and my family and friends are safe...and for the time being still free.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth said it perfectly. I'm proud of every one of us who answered the call and kept terrorism out of our homeland.

Better than expected. I survived Hungary in 1956, not invading Cuba in 1962, the loss of Cambodia and of Vietnam. By that time I knew we were anything but the picture we painted. A large military thatcan project force anywhere on earth but our nation building skills suck.
