I'm pondering on where to go this year that would be a reasonable drive from the Great State of Ohio. Seriously considering Myrtle Beach, but I would like to hear some ideas from other great leaders! OBTW Looking at Mid-July as I know that will be a questioned asked.

Alcohol. For $100 you can have the greatest weekend of your life. All you need is your house (or any roof where the inhabitants let you stay), alcohol, and maybe a few dollar cheeseburgers from the local grease-pit/restaurante.
I haven't been on vacation in a while. I guess my standards are pretty low. But, I'm easily entertained.

LTC (Join to see)
SPC (Join to see) that would be a great Vacation for me, but because I have kidos and a wifey I don't think I would get away with that, but it is truly still an option to participate in a staycation this year!

WASHINGTON DC!!!1.. I lvoed the place. (granted I love history) Spent less than 120 a night for my hotel and I could see congress from it (used priceline) and you can walk EVERYWHERE and see so much of our history and culture. there is literally a monument or some interesting fact every 50 feet. then there is all the museums (I recommend SPY and NEws museum)food is relatively inexpensive and no cab or transit fair is needed. Ive been to 32 states and 9 countries...DC is my favorite.

I stayed at a nice hotel called "The Donovan House" Kinda swanky..a little too much for my taste to be honest...but it was in walking distance of EVERYTHING...literally 4 blocks from Washington monument.
