Storage and Distribution Manager on the civilian side would likely require experience in managing the specific tasks of the activity on the military side. For a POL operation, experience in hazardous materials shipping requirements and documentation, petroleum storage methods and conditions, quality assurance methodology, inventory control, emergency and spill response, Spill control and countermeasures, and Storm water pollution prevention would be topics I would expect experience in for a POL manager.

If you can tick off most or all of these then go for that job! :)

Based on my time in hazardous material management and quality assurance in an air guard supply organization and civilian distribution operations and environmental management.

I think the common denominator is Manager....you could put any words preceeding or following manager and they would be fine. A squad leader is exactly what it says a leader

I think you are selling yourself short if that is what you refer to a squad leader as.
