I was station at Kunsan AB, Korea and was a narcotics dog handler. One night I got a phone call from the Army unit attached to the base for a no notice dorm sweep. I entered one of the privates room. I noticed my dog was not sniffing but would stop and shake its paws like something was on them. The room was worse than a dumpster. I took my dog outside for a few minutes and the First Sgt asked why I did not clear the room. I told the First Sgt that the room was very nasty and I had to take my dog out for few minutes. The First Sgt turned bright red with anger and yelled at the private "Your room is so nasty even a dog does not want to go in there!" After about 15 minutes, I got my dog to finally clear the room.

The NCO dorm was not that great of a shape either. I did see them all on a nice stroll along the base perimeter in full gear around 0600 in the morning.

Certainly not me, Sgt Mike Sanderson. I like my creature comforts, and I prefer to not make a big deal out of any ability I might have to assist an unfriendly type in meeting his choice of divine beings.
