I'll have 16 months until I can retire after my current PCS window. How can I get stabilization so I don't have to PCS again?

Do you have two years left--the current PCS window plus 16 months. Take leave, volunteer for a short TDY or deployment, need surgery, get it, or apply for a special program which will freeze assignments.
