What is the best way to describe your military experience?

A 27 year extension of my adolescence.

Before - smart mouthed punk immature kid
During - Learned discipline, follow rules, matured, respect for others
After - Still carry the values I acquired while I was on active duty.

I have to say from my end simply it was like getting electrocuted mentally psychologically emotionally

To the point you are stunned and full of pride drilling yourself into the dungeon of some unknown spot or reality

A place i dont think is covered in any literature

You fall asleep and never mention it for over a decade

Then for reasons you are not in-control of you finally are put in front of a va representative who warns and tells you in paper and in word you are not a veteran for veteran purposes. By the way they send you something saying Thank You For Your Service.

They say have pride in something they have no pride in to actually support

It was a ass kicking that outer space aliens would have a difficult time gameplaning around a winning formula

In fact Aliens would just fly as fast to another planet

Navy Seals would stop it instantly and say you idiots who made this dumb program up

The Navy IG even said it was systemically weak in training and administration.

Don’t worry that wont get you a humanitarian waiver for a homeless housing voucher. The law they say is black and white. YOu are not a veteran for veteran purposes.

You get this really great patriotic emotion of humanitarian spirit broke and in the streets hurting you better get to the border or Mexico and help and support these hundred of thousands of people coming from over where, because the president and the Vice President said “COME ON IN” we will support you with housing and money and a court date. They are so supportive of trumpeting the dire consequences of not making enough money and support from crime and bad government in the land they started in.
