The Pentagon was supposed to send dead or inactive anthrax samples from a military facility in Dugway, Utah, but accidently sent live ones instead. Thoughts or comments?
I am happy that I have received my vaccinations, but it is scary to think about something like this happening.

I understand why they have the live and dead Anthrax in the first place, but why would the Pentagon be shipping it without QA/QC and universal precautions on both ends, and why would they use civilian means to ship them?

You'd figure. I mean, the military has so many policies and procedures in place to prevent the simplest of accidents, but something like this slips through?

And the Air Force transported nuclear weapons over land some years back. It seems some folks are itching for the apocalypse.

I've always thought that the zombie apocolypse would be caused by our own government...lol?

Actually, it was an Air Force bomber that flew from Minot, ND to Louisiana with a live nuclear load, and it wasn't discovered until after the plane landed.

over land? as in flying over? I could see how that could be confused with 'overland'
you have a point.

I attended training at Dugway a few years ago. I was impressed with the professionalism and controls so I would like to think this was overblown or pure incompetence on the part of some person
