After reclassifying to the 15T PMOS, should I go back to 12B?

So I reclassed from 12B to 15T as a SGT, been here in Fort Drum since graduating AIT stuck in an ASB. Haven't got any solid hands on experience and doesn't look like it will happen any time soon. Being a 12B and so used to "standards and discipline" here in aviation all that seems to be out the door. I've been considering going back to 12B but not sure if I should wait and get promoted or take another route.
Any suggestions?
If you're a 12B NCO SGT or SSG how are you liking it so far?

If you're planning to wait till you promote as a 15T you're going to be waiting a lot longer than you would as a 12B.
In order to switch to an MOS which used to be your Primary MOS you need to contact the MOS Proponent of your old MOS and request a memo stating you're still qualified in your old MOS. The longer you're out of your old MOS the more likely they are to say no, or require a skills validation test, depending on the MOS.
Then there's the Army Strengths portion of the reclass request. Your old and new MOS are both balanced so you can't reclass outside you're window without an ETP and there's nothing exceptional about you or your case so far, so HRC will deny it. You can do it in your reenlistment window, possibly. But that's probably another year or two for you because the SRR for 15T is three years from graduation of AIT. If you're a Careerist now, meaning your ETS is at the mark of ten years past your BASD, then that will only be an option for you if your new MOS receives a Tier 3 bonus at the time of your request, which it currently does not. It almost never has a bonus for SSG.

If I take the route on going back to my prior MOS and if it doesn't get approved will I just continue my remaining TIS contract?

SGT(P) (Join to see) if HRC denies your request then nothing in your life has changed except a little time passed.

I had a soldier who had the same kind of thoughts after switching from Infantry to Aviaition.....it's a different world and you won't be as close with your new comrades as fast as you would in infantry......don't let the differences make you second guess your decision without letting enough time pass.....a deployment or two, some field problems, spend some time with your new comrades outside of just work and the suck of military life. It's good and bad in different ways, but I'm sure you'll get to enjoy the perks of an aviation job.....maybe not so much until you go to a flight unit, but take your time and try to learn your new job as much as you can and keep a positive outlook.
