I'm sure we all know what we wanted going into the military, but has your original goal changed? Have you learned or experienced something to possibly change your goal?

Let's use a metaphor here.
You've got a football field, and the Goal Post is smack dab in the middle of it. You are sitting at the 0 yard line, and it's all the way at the other side of the field.
When you go into the military, a lot of folks get focused in on that Goal Post. It's easy to see. It becomes the center of attention, but you forget that you can Score anywhere along those 160 feet of the 100 yard line. You don't have to go after the center. You can go after the corners or any point between.
The Goal Post is A goal, but it doesn't have to be THE goal.
Making it THE goal changes the way you think about things, and can turn normal successes into perceptual failures.

My end goal is to have at least a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and continue as a ground radar technician because I do love my job......ultimately I would like to leave as an officer with a pilot's license.
