I received orders for SOCOM and I am wondering what the optempo is like there, I was at Macdill previously but on the CENTCOM side and never actually met or talked any of the SOCOM guys. Any insight is helpful. Trying to prepare myself mentally

Normal staff work hours, some directorates are still allowing percentage of military members, DOD CIV, and Contractors to telework. Judging by your listed job you'll be in the J2.
