I just PCSd not too long ago, I came to the unit as a mechanic level 20. Can I get some advice?

I pcs'd to my unit, I have been placed as the senior mechanic(30level)I was the section sgt but i was moved up. I have not went to my s1 to change my erb because I have not seen my ncoer. (I know they need to match) If they put me as something other than what I have been serving. what actions should I take? thank you for your advice in advance

Get with your Platoon Sergeant to see if they have made the change on the manning roster to ensure you have been placed in that posistion. As when you get your initial counseling also ensure it states the posistion you are holding, take credit for what your doing.

SSG Butcher, I have tried to get my initial counseling as far as that they say " I am trying, I am just behind" You will get what you deserve. I forgot about the manning roster I will bring that up. Plus, we are losing our platoon sgt and motorsgt so that may be difficult.

Keep getting on them about sooner or later they'll get the hint. Give it time though, but remember it's your career so if you want it you gotta get. and remeber use your Chain of Command.
