DCMA Detroit (O6 command) wants to put reservists on orders but doesn't know how to go about it. I'm new to the Reserve and don't know what to tell them.

Several years ago I brought NG on active duty for national disaster missions. I used DTS and NORTHCOM gave me a fund site. I don’t know if DTS is appropriate for those ADOS soldiers. I would definitely talk to some budget folks about a fund site even if it means talking to the G-8. I don’t know the color of money for ADOS soldiers. All I can say is it will be Title 10 funds, but you will need a fund site.

You are correct. The NG uses Title 10 funds.

CPL (Join to see) - Now that I think about it, I have used DTS to bring ADOS troops on active duty. One Friday afternoon I told the two DTS NCOs to go home early. Then I was told to put 15 NG soldiers on ADOS orders. I was fortunate to understand the process because I took a week to study DTS and created a DTS Smart Book. Here is my DTS Smart Book. I gave it to the army, naturally my name is not on the document. I got a silly coin for that file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5kdXQw0o0B-VG11QXBiMzZDUWc/view?resourcekey=0-zeKvtkQ5eeUYcisOOws_mQ

I would think an O-6 command should have someone who knows how that works, are we talking putting on active for their purposes or for big army's purposes.
