Are all courses on ALMS and JKO worth promotion points?

No! On JKO, there is an option in the catalog to select courses that are worth DL points (see attached photo). Make sure you only take courses that JKO has annotated are worth points! Otherwise, needless to say, they won't count towards promotion.

ALMS isn't a course catalog itself, but rather a system where you take the courses you registered for via ATRRS. However, I think the majority of the courses that used to be on ALMS have since migrated to Blackboard (Google Army Blackboard). Some examples of courses that will give you the most bang for your buck there are:

081-MD0921 HEALTHCARE NCO SUST- 170 Hours
081-68WM6 PRACTICAL NURSE ASI SUST- 130 Hours
081-68D OPERATING ROOM SPECIALIST SUST- 135 Hours

Register for these on ATRRS and wait for the confirmation email, then they will be added to your "My Learning" tab of Blackboard. What I recommend doing is knocking out these 3 so you don't have to worry about correspondence hours anymore. DL points have a cap of 400 hours for promotion to E5, and these 3 will get you there. As someone already stated, 5 hours = 1 promotion point. That's 80 free points. Let me know if you need any help with registration.

I recall a change a few years back where on ALMS sub-courses did not count, only the full course did.

Didn't know ALMS had curses that translate to promotion points - if I did, I fairly certain my colorful and creative usage of curses would have made me CSM.
