What is 14P AIT currently like at Ft. Sill, OK? I am married with children, and wondering if family can visit or if students are currently allowed weekend passes. Any knowledge about the training, and current COVID restrictions is welcome!

It all depends on your drill sergeant. It all depends on his command. I went to basic training in 1994 and I believe I had two 24 hour passes. You are an advanced individual training so it may be easier for you than basic training. If your family lives far away, I wouldn't make any plans. If they are close by, that's a different story.

I don't know if your command is paranoid and won't want you to see anybody for fear of getting the coronavirus. I know it Army MEPS policy that you cannot enlist if you have had the coronavirus. I am not sure of the status if you are in AIT and get sick?

If it’s anything like i went through in mid 2019 you won’t be allowed pass but it’s only 9 weeks and depending on your grades and class behavior you could be allowed an all day sign out of the barracks so you can see your family then
