What to expect going into OSUT (11x) as an E4 in the marine corps?

I’ve been doing some research on here and I’m seeing mixed answers. My goal is to go to RASP and join the ranger regiment. In OSUT, will I be able to PT on my own on the weekends? Do I get Sunday off? Will I be able to contact my wife? Will my wife to able to move on base even if I’m in OSUT? If anybody has been through this lmk. It will help a lot.

No your spouse will not be able to join you at OSUT. Or, Airborne or RASP. There may be Sundays off some days and others you may train. You will be able to contact your spouse, it's not a CIA detention center. PT is free and you can do it anytime, you just won't be going to a gym.

Be prepared to receive BAH for Ft. Benning, so if you live in a high cost of living area, the BAH won’t cover rent.

Prior service E4, had a 2 year period as a civilian after getting out. 0621 radio operator (POG).
