In military and civian correspondence it is appropriate to spell out acronyms unless they're so common the acronym has replaced the word, like ETS or radar. I'm sure a lot of people here could help you if they knew what JAOC2C was

Course Scope:
DURATION: 13 days (Students must report NLT 0700 first day of class for in-processing nd may be required to stay until 1830 the last training day).COURSE DESCRIPTION: Trains all Services' personnel, O-5 and below, who may be assigned to positions that require expertise in integrating air support with ground operations, who perform liaison duties with supporting forces, or integrate with other OPERATIONAL LEVEL elements of the Theater Air Ground System (TAGS). Personnel receive education and training on joint doctrine; Theater Air Ground System (TAGS), JAOC organization, processes and automated systems for planning, producing, executing and assessing an air tasking order (ATO), airspace control order (ACO) and special instructions (SPINS). Training consists of academics, seminars, computer labs, practical exercises, and culminates with a Joint Practical Application (JPA) exercise in a simulated JAOC environment.PURPOSE: There is an operational level requirement for Army officers and NCOs to understand the capabilities of joint air power, how to process requirements that exceed organic capabilities, and coordinate with and know functions of the Joint Air and Space Operations Center (JAOC) and the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC). The supported commander, who receives assistance from another commander's force or capabilities, is responsible for ensuring that the supporting commander understands the assistance required (JP 3-0). The processes to coordinate joint air support, collection requirements, airspace use, and how Army Air and Missile defense assets integrate into the Area Air Defense Plan, need to be understood up and down the Army's chain of command to effectively leverage support from the supporting air component. The Army Joint Support Team (AJST) combined with the 505TRS provides an overview of joint air ground operations to soldiers in the Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD), Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC), or operational level staff positions in an Army command post. Soldiers assigned to a BCT in an ADAM/BAE should consider the ADAM/BAE CELL AIR-GROUND INTEGRATION COURSE (2G-SIC8/ASIC8/043-ASIC8). ADAM/BAE course manager is CW3 Cronen, [login to see] .COURSE SCOPE: This course focuses on the JAOC organization, Command and control processes and supporting automated systems. The "primer" for the entire course is how each of the Components operates within the TAGS. Instruction includes the responsibilities and authorities associated to the JFACC, and other authorities designated by the Joint Force Commander such as the Airspace Control Authority (ACA) and the Area Air Defense Commander (AADC).

Information for School 886, Last Updated 07 Nov 2019
Joint Air Ground Integration School - ATRRS school code 886.

The Air Operations Center Initial Qualification Course and the Joint Air
Operations Courses are institutional courses that provide functional training
for soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines. The Formal Training Unit (FTU) of
505th Training Readiness Squadron (TRS), 505th Command and Control Wing, is
located in building 90020, 102 O'Neill Avenue, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544.

JAOC2C is the joint certified course that satisfies the Army 5A ASI/SI. The
course operates under a 1993 OSD directive, is supported by a four-Service
training plan, is governed by the Joint Air Operations Command & Control
Training Working Group, and has Joint Staff J3 oversight. The CSA signed a 31
MAR 2011 MOA requiring that Army liaisons to Air Force organizations be school
trained. Army positions with liaison functions are typically coded for the 5A
ASI/SI.

AOC INT QUAL TNG course is a Title X USAF course principally designed to train
members of all four Services on the operational processes and C2 systems used
within these processes for command & control of airpower capabilities at the
theater level. For the Army, this course is appropriate for one type of
specialized unit the Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD). Five of
these units exist in the Army inventory. One other type of Army unit may
justify attendance for selected individuals the Army Air & Missile Defense
Command (AAMDC). There are three active component and one ARNG AAMDCs in the
Army inventory.

In accordance with the Joint Training Plan that supports the 1993 Joint ATO
training agreement, approved by the Assistant Secretary of Defense. The Office
of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) directed the Secretary of the Air Force to
establish an Executive Agent for Joint Air Tasking Order Training. The USAF is
the lead agent for this training, executed by the USAF Warfare Center 505th
CCW at Hurlburt Field, FL. The Combined Arms Centers Army Joint Support Team
(AJST) is the Armys lead organization for education and training of Joint
Air-Ground Operations command & control processes. The 505th CCW integrates
and supports CAC AJST instructors as members of the school cadre. These
instructors support the USAF requirement to provide ATO (Air Tasking
Order)/ACO (Airspace Control Order) production and dissemination training to
all the services, in collaboration with the CINCs and Services. This is a
critical task for soldiers assigned to the Battlefield Coordination
Detachment, working in the Air Operations Center; who are awarded the ASI 5A
(Joint Air Tactical Operations) for completing these courses.
all slots are provided based on valid requests to 505th TRS Quota Management.
