I was looking on the net for some details on this. Does anyone have insight into Fort Gordon’s school. There is a new Cyber Center of Excellence command center, which seems to include the Cyber School and the Signal School – but certain sources mention a School of Information Technology so I am wondering if that was subsumed into the Cyber CoE when it was established? Could anyone shed light on this or distinguish between the two schools in better detail.

SGT (Join to see), you can go to http://cybercoe.army.mil/ and dig into a lot more details about the Cyber CoE (much of it is CAC enabled though).
To answer your questions, the Cyber CoE grew out of the Signal CoE (which used to be the Signal Schoolhouse before all the TRADOC schoolhouses became CoEs). The SIT (School of Information Technology) does fall under the Cyber CoE as it is part of the Signal School.
The Cyber School will focus on training for the Offier/Warrant/Enlisted Cyber/EW AOCs (the 17x series and 29x series) while the Signal School will do so for the Signal ones (25s, etc).
Remember, Cyber <> IT/Signal/MI just like MI (or Signal, IT, etc) <> Cyber. Each plays an important part of each other.

I had hoped you would get some feedback on this as I am curious about this Cyber Center of Excellence. I will continue to follow this SGT (Join to see).
