The second MEPS visit is like the first but with some modifications. You still get shipped there, stay in the hotel etc and have to go through the screening line. But after that it all changes.
You get blood drawn, you get chest and mouth x-rays and a very, very brief medical that really is the extent of "has anything changed since you were here last?" If the answer is no then that is pretty much it. Hurry up and wait 2.0
You then sit and wait for a career counselor/recruiter and here is where you paying attention counts. LOOK OVER THE CONTRACT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SIGN CAREFULLY. This is the one that counts. It should have everything and I do mean everything that you want and agreed to. Sometimes they slip and make mistakes and you get shafted for not paying attention. After that sign it and you swear in for the last time and then you are grouped and wait transport to usually the airport where you go off to your BCT.

I can vouch for this. It took me several months and a signature from a 2 star to get my ETS date fixed. A mistake was made at MEPS with my paperwork and my ETS date was listed as 4 years instead of 3 years and 22 weeks like my contract said. It took getting very firm with threats to start crawling up the chain of command to get my company to finally read my contract and realize that there actually was an error. I did not want to spend an extra 6 months in the Army. LOL

Do you have to redo the whole Medical process all over again?

In the Navy, all of the blood tests and medical tests are done when you get to Great Lakes. The second MEPS has you sign your for real contract and a basic "have you gotten hurt since last last check" and you swear in and leave. At least that's how it was when I went through about 6 years ago..
