Good evening, all. I am looking to find out if anyone here has recently went to Flight Medic training. I am looking at applying for the F2 program. I realize I would have to attend F3 training at Rucker prior to going. As I am preparing my packet, I am wondering, about how long it took everyone to hear back as to whether or not they got picked up for it, and how much time was between the acceptance and the time that they reported. You usually won't be able to go right after AIT. Once you've been at your first duty station a year, it's a pretty simple packet. Almost any 68W can apply and be accepted if you aren't on orders. The packet is a 4187, NREMT, BLS, and flight physical

Good luck. The Army has done a lot better over the last decade or so increasing the educational requirements within enlisted aeromedical community. They're earning their FP-C and CCEMT-P credentials along the way which have applicability in the civilian marketplace.
