What recourse do we have to ensure a local MPD stops screwing over soldiers?

For context, my unit had 2 soldiers with report dates of mid and late February just get their orders cut yesterday. This really upset me when I heard about it.
In my case, I submitted my RFO in mid December and I plan to leave in about 45 days. I am still waiting. Not only do my own personal matters rely on these orders being cut and leaving early, as I've been authorized to, but the mission I support is also affected by the uncertainty.
My CoC has been very good about checking on all of this and trying to facilitate these actions being processed. I have no complaints with how they've handled it. But I do have half a mind to write my congressmen because this isn't right and I can see it happening over and over. Apparently this MPD is notorious for it too.

I can imagine, SFC. I know an ICE complaint is another avenue but I don't have confidence that it would get anywhere past their inbox. This kind of situation reminds me of when my dad wrote the department of the navy when he was about to retire. Maybe a lawmaker could deal with the civilians more effectively.

Thanks for the advice y’all. I ended up filing an ICE complaint last night and requested a response to my unit alias email and my 1SG’s desk number. Depending on what that response says, the next step I’ll take is to use the BDE and Garrison CSMs open door policies.
