What is the daily life like in 75th Ranger Regiment and 160th SOAR for a 91D?

was wondering what was the daily life in garrison and deployment is like being in the 75th and 160th SOAR is and what kind of opportunities are offered? And would a support MOS see combat?

I just finished my time with the 160th not long ago and it’s been the best assignment of my career thus far. If you make it past RASP or EGP, you’ll get more opportunities as a support element mos than you will if you just stay in the big Army. However, these opportunities come up because what it takes to get in. It’s not just physical. A lot of people failed the background screening, to include finances and couldn’t make it past the doctors interview as well.
