Well SPC (Join to see), I'm sure you, as an infantryman, will have little chances of being assigned to a support unit. Specially a SL1 Soldier... Even with the current 2ID ongoing restructure. What can I tell you? Camp Humphreys is not as bad as Area 1 (i.e. as north as you could get).

Doubt it. You'll get order to the replacement company and they decide your faith based on their needs. However... 2ID HQs are currently at Humphreys with other supporting scattered across country. No real maneuvering units organic to 2ID but TACON during rotation. The true 2ID maneuver brigades are stateside at JBLM, ADCON under the 7ID. Weird, eh?
