Good morning,
After an Article 15 is suspended for 30 days (rank reduction to E5 is suspended for 30 Days); "Appeal Approved" Do I keep my promotable status?, I never had a DA 268 (Removal from Selection List) notification. This means I never was removed from the promotion List?. If is the case do I keep my Promotable status?. How long it will take to update in the system? or do I have to do something with my S1?. Thank you for response.

You were flagged for adverse action and when that happened your promotable status was revoked. At that time your command was required to flag you and remove you from the list. You may or may not have been provided a copy but the flag should be on your SRB.

Once your situation is resolved your command must remove the flag and submit your name to the STAB and recommend whether you should be reintegrated or removed from the list.

SSG (Join to see) everyone whose flagged should receive a 268 and counseling, but that doesn't always happen. If you are flagged, it is on your SRB, if you are not flagged your command is required flag you, the command who is responsible for flagging, usually the company commander. To remove an HQDA removal flag your CO CDR must initiate the removal 268, write a recommendation to reinstate or revoke your standing in the list, your BN CDR writes their recommendation, your COL writes their recommendation, then the STAB makes the final decision

As long as you did not lose rank, which appears you did not. And they did submit paper to remove your status you should be fine. Just learn from this and keep your nose clean.

From AR 600-8-19 - Removal from HQDA Promotion Lists
HQDA can administratively remove a Soldier’s name from the recommendation list based on information provided by the commander. Commanders may also recommend a Soldier’s removal from an HQDA promotion list. A commander must provide to HQDA documentation pertaining to Soldiers on an HQDA recommended list who meet certain criteria. Commanders may also recommend that a Soldier’s name be removed from an HQDA recommended list at any time for substandard performance or any other substantiated reason warranting removal.

You will be given an opportunity to respond to the action. Your command will provide you with a copy of all adverse documentation supporting the recommendation to remove you from the promotion list. You will then be given at least 15 days to submit a rebuttal to the removal action. The only exception to this process is when your removal is mandatory under the regulation.

The removal action and all supporting documentation will be submitted through command channels to HRC. Once HRC makes a decision, the action will be returned to the command. The Soldier will then be notified of the final decision.

Now you have to research if what warranted this action falls within a mandatory removal.

You guys are referring to the wrong list. This is for the centralized promotion list for people who were selected for E7 - E9
