After 12 years of taking for granted our military healthcare benefits our family has separated from active duty (not retired.) I have recently found federal employment and only have so long to choose a healthcare plan. I find myself completely overwhelmed with all of the choices and their cost. I loved Tricare prime (most of the time, lol) and am finding it difficult to find a plan that is comparable without costing my entire paycheck. Is anyone else in the same predicament or have any advice??

Cpl Tiffany Morales There are a LOT of options with FEHB. Go talk with the benefits HR specialist. They can help point you in the right direction for you. (they can't tell you which to pick, but give you best options)

No. I found that my Civilian Healthcare options are far superior to Tricare. It is awesome to see things get paid on time and nothing gets rejected. Tricare is the most horrible Healthcare Insurance Company out there. I am going to stay the hell away from them for as long as I can.
