For whatever reasons, typos, errors, rants, venting, sometimes you may want to go back and either edit or even delete one of your posts or comments but are unable to do so.  I would like to see this capability on Rally Point, if not to just correct spelling errors.

Well editing and deleting my own yes.  Anyone else's no.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion here and I think when everyone responds both sides and various factors can be read up on, unbiased.

It'd have to have some sort of control over it.  Otherwise someone could have a post like "America is awesome!" which gets 75 likes, and then the individual changes it to "Puppies are stupid!" and then the 75 people immediately regret their deicision to vote on the comment because they do not, in fact, believe puppies to be stupid.

I'd say then that if you do edit your comment that you lose all votes.

If you click your vote again, it removes it. So this isn't really an issue. You can also do what most forms do, and show the time and date of the edit at the bottom of a post. More recently facebook actually allows you to view the edit history of someones post that they edited, So there are numerous ways to get around this.

Unless they tag an admin and request that it be removed.

SSG P, I was saying there are numerous ways to do it, as in there are numerous ways to implement this. I realize you can't do it on RP, that is the purpose of the thread.
