Anyone know if HRC keeps a list of EFMP locations that have been denied?

Currently been denied many locations due to EFMP. Trying to see if branch keeps track of these locations or do they just resubmit later in when pcsing?

There's a record but that's irrelevant. Each time you PCS your EFMP is evaluated to determine if it can be supported at that location for the expected duration of your stay

EFMP approval/denial is done at an individual level between the installation and the individual.

Yes I am aware just wasn't sure if once denied that location if that means the location will always remain that way and HRC will not resubmit to the potential gaining location or if HRC will attempt again at a later date since services available may change.

Paula Heller - No, posts are not forever denied based on EFMP and often times installations look to bring services to their post. The increased use of Virtual Health/Telehealth is becoming a game changer in this arena.

It all depends on the installation and the EFMP. Not all EFMPs are the same - so say your EFMP is denied for certain installations doesn't mean someone else's EFMP would get denied at the same ones.
My daughter is in EFMP. When I was trying to figure out where to PCS next last time I did, Ft Hood came up. Her EFMP got denied and all I was told by branch is she was told "cannot provides the services needed." Well this was after her transplant and I hadn't updated her EFMP so I got it updated. Yet again denied EFMP. I called the EFMP coordinator at Hood and asked why. She said all she could tell me is the hospital said they could not provide the services she needed. That she couldn't tell me specifically what they couldn't provide.
But someone else with a dependent in EFMP could get approved at Hood depending on why they're in EFMP.
I don't think they keep a list of installations that EFMP denies because EFMP denies on a case by case basis.

That is interesting as Scott and White in Temple have pretty robust pediatric services along with BAMC only 2.5 hours away.

MAJ Byron Oyler - *Shrug* That's what I thought. I mean I'm kinda glad I didn't go to Hood...but I only wanted to since it's close-ish to Nebraska. 12 hour drive is feasible for family to help out.
I even wanted it because I saw the transplant clinic is like 20 min from base. That's why I called the EFMP coordinator. She said I can't tell you the specific reason they gave, just can say they can't provide services. Why can't I know as the SM and the parent? She said she couldn't tell me their specific reason from the hospital.
I thought the first time denied because it reflected her still on dialysis, etc. Post transplant she still needs care but primarily pediatric nephrology. Cardio once a year. She doesn't have nearly as many specialists as she did. I don't know though. I suppose. It is what it is.
