I graduated PA school in August became board certified August 31st. My application for direct commision in the Army was sent off in September and I was notified that I was approved by the board at the end of October. All I am waiting for now is my scroll to come back from congress and I'm getting stir crazy with the wait. Anybody have any idea how much longer I have to wait for the scroll to come back?

Takes anywhere between 30-90 days during normal times. I was approved by the board in October. Received scroll first week of December same year. Just be patient. It’s an election year and also due to covid stuff is probably moving slower. The important thing is you got selected and got moved on for scroll approval and you have a slot.

I am in the same boat as you. I applied for 71B. Got my board approval mid November and have been waiting for scroll process as well. It’s the “hurry up and wait” moment. My recruiter said it could be anywhere from mid December to March that I hear back.

I was accepted at the same board for 71b. I’m interested in hearing about it from your perspective! My recruiter mentioned the same timeframe for commissioning.

S M what would you like to discuss? Regarding timeframe, my recruiter said told me mid December, then his commander told me could be up to March. Later the recruiter said his commander informed him that our AOC do things on their own time frame. Was interesting to hear that. Maybe we will meet each other at DCC or BOLC this year.

I am applying for 67J Direct Comission. Where do you see the board results? I have looked everywhere. I can't find anything related in any MILPER message.
