Is BLC still virtual? I am slotted for BLC in June of 2021. I have not seen much about it online. With COVID and the new ACFT, would I take the ACFT or APFT at BLC? I know if you have a record pass APFT from FY 2020 it counts for FY 2021but how does it affect BLC? Also, would they be for record?

Do you understand how far away June 2021 is?

Do you understand how much can change in the time? Maybe talk to your schools representative and ask what the NCOA is doing

UFN, BLC is virtual. Also, UFN, any passing APFT/ACFT you have on record will stand. However, by the time June 2021 rolls around, all of this could change. Be ready to take it. Be ready to pass it. For all we know, come 1 Feb 21 (example date), they could put everything back in place and then people are going to mad scramble for seats and assessments.

If COVID taught us anything it is that everything can change within a 6 month time period. Just keep open comms with your leadership and the point of contact for the course. Don't try to predict the future, Just be ready for either possibility. And work on your PT because eventually the new test will go into rotation and you don't want to be the guy who gets tagged when it is finally official.
