Are the results on hold due to COVID? Not sure how long after the recess to expect the results. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything or might know something?

No, they only convened the board on the 22nd of October. In previous years it was at least 90 days before results were released

Too soon brother. Just convened last month. It's usually 2-3 months before the publishing of results, so we probably wont hear anything until January at the earliest.

SFC Scott O. the MSG evaluation board results were released back in July. The US Army Sergeants Major Academy selection will be released in December. Not sure what MSG evaluation board you are referring too.

He's referring to this years board to determine OML standings for Sergeants First Class eligible for Master Sergeant.

MSG (Join to see) - Kinda sorta. Those have gone away. It's a recent change. Instead of the traditional “selection” boards, the Army is conducting an annual evaluation board process where SSG and above are evaluated based on their performance and potential in order to create an order of merit list (OML).
These OMLs rank order board- eligible NCOs within their Career Progression MOS (CPMOS) based on individual merit. Evaluation boards are not selection boards and the OML is not a promotion selection list or a training selection list.
The board results do not “select” anyone for any specific thing. The OMLs inform who will be identified for training, appointment, specialized assignments, promotions and retention, after applying eligibility and qualification criteria to them.

SFC Michael Hasbun I am fully aware of the process for the new system. I guess I didn't really didn't understand the question.
