Should RallyPoint add a feature to share information (updates, articles, documents, etc.)?

RallyPoint Answers is a great way to receive information or answers to your question but does little in terms of pushing or sharing information. Other social and professional networking sites such as LinkedIn have ways for members to share updates, articles, documents, links, ect. for others in your network to benefit from. I currently follow some great influencers on LinkedIn that always have information to share that is beneficial to my daily duties as an Intelligence Professional.
RallyPoint could be used this same way as I am sure their are experts on RallyPoint within almost every branch or specialty. These members could post best practices, articles pertaining to your specialty, documents of all types ect. that would benefit RallyPoint members. You could also be able to follow individuals as opposed to just following a post. If this were the case I would definitely build a larger network of intelligence professionals here on RallyPoint to learn from. Right now there is really no motivation (besides points) to connect with members in my branch that I don't personally know.
What are your thoughts or ideas on how to better share information on Rallypoint without awkwardly making it into a question?

CW4 (Join to see) - Great timing on your post/question. One of RallyPoint's board members is a founder of LinkedIn, and we were just discussing this very feature yesterday. It is one of the items we are definitely considering, and likely a matter of "when" and not "if".
Please note we currently have the Command Post program, which allows selective members to post informational posts as you described. You can view the existing ones here:

SGT Richard H. - We've discussed that as well, especially in the context of member groups, and posting best practices on particular topics, jobs, units, and industries. I'll admit though that we have many additional features planned prior to that though.

One such use that follks on here have asked about its getting employment in the Federal Govt upon transitioning from active duty. I think perhaps sharing of a template of a resume that helped win a federal job, would be helpful or a document of tips that could be shared.
If a soldier is looking for some information on say a uniform regulation or how to spot proper form for pushups for AFPT, perhaps uploading an image or video could be useful.

So something like a LinkedIn, where users can also become content creators? I like it!
