Ladies, Please Help / Advice,
Do I get BAH while on terminal if I wasn’t getting it before. I’m an E5 with 73days of terminal leave. My admin dept. and our PS keep telling me they’re not sure, they don’t know, they’ll research but this is the same response I’ve gotten for over 2 months. What confuses me is the fact that I’m on a Marine base, the few Marine friends I know that got out got their BAH on terminal leave, they all rated BAS while they were in, and lived in the barracks like I did, but they saw a huge increase when they got out. Why would a Marine get it but a Sailor doesn’t?

You should receive transitional BAH when you are on terminal leave greater than 30 days

Thank you Sir, I reached out to my Navy community at other commands too. They told me my PS should have processed a 35 BAQ and 68 BAH, if they don’t then I get nothing, so I reached this morning for them to hopefully resolve this issue.

Be careful, because if you owe...the Gov will get it from you. I good place to start would be to call JAG as they will have the correct UCMJ information...good luck! Hooah!
