Wait until you do a full marathon, and you start saying things like "only a half." Or worse yet, looking at Ultra's based on what their Belt Buckle award is (some of them are just Bad #%#^).

That would be one hell of a belt buckle to get my ass to run anything over four miles. I will be rooting for you though!

CSM (Join to see) I've wanted to run Bad Water for years. 140~ Miles through Death Valley in July. It's so hot you have to run on the white lines of the highway so your shoes don't melt.

Someday!

We used to do it all the time in Division, Mondays for the most part, the CO loved to run and he also loved to see the guys who had to much fun on the week end suffer.

When I was stationed at Fort Bragg, our Company Commander and First Sergeant offered to let anyone running the Ft. Bragg 10 miler off for the rest of the day after they finished the 10 miler. Only a few people took them up on the offer.

Guess what we did for PT that day. 10 miles. Then we had to report for duty...

Signed up first thing yesterday! One of the great races to run. The people cheering you on the whole way through and you can't find better views like the nation's capitol. Most of all though there is nothing like participating with the Wounded Warriors every year, I am proud to run along side them.
