Camp Parks is a Reserve Training Center and a former WW2 Aircraft Gunnery training base. It’s in Dublin, California a nice city. I live about 10 miles from there. Livermore, the city next to it was a former farming and wine town. The farms are gone but the wineries exist.
One item of historical value, former boxing heavyweight champion, George Foreman trained in the gymnasium there. It is huge.
The barracks are old school squad bays. I used to train troops there as a Drill. The roads, trails and hills are great for running.
The D-fac is ok, last time I was there. PX was small but well stocked. I don’t know anything about the Supply school. I bumped into a few classes “on the trail” and they were ok with giving way to the troops.
There are rappelling towers and teamwork courses. The range has been closed down since the city got too close for comfort.
You’ll have a good time if you do the right thing and make the right choices.

I've drilled there for sometime.
It is a very small post. They have civilian cops there, and they are bored as hell. Don't speed, come to an absolute complete stop. The shopette is basically mobile buildings put together.
But you are in the middle of the Bay Area, with walking access to the rail transit and anything the area has to offer if you have the time.
Oh yea, the DFAC was closed down due to an employee testing positive for CV-19.
