So an NCO told me he re enlisted before his window opened and I think he is BSing me lol. he told me if I want to do it I can But I’ve never heard of this , is it possible?

You can’t reenlist outside your window unless you’ve been placed on assignment, then you can only reenlist to accept the assignment. He may just be misinformed about the window, which is 15 months from ETS, not 12 or 18

Normally, it is NOT possible to reenlist outside of your window. But, if you want serious confirmation, then hit up your Retention NCO and they can give you the straight skinny

It may have just been a different window at the time. For example, in the mid-2000's the reenlistment window was 24 months prior to ETS.
